OUR HITCHIN TRAINING FACILITY
Welcome to The Ferraro Method personal training studio, located on Bury Mead Road in Hitchin – a unique space designed for performance, community, and wellbeing.
Our open-plan gym floor is fitted with high-quality equipment to support all levels of training, while a large front shutter opens up to flood the space with natural light, creating an energising environment to move in.
Upstairs, the mezzanine level features a consultation room, a dedicated sports massage room, and a well-stocked retail area to support your fitness journey.
But what truly sets us apart is the strong sense of camaraderie between our trainers and members – a warm, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels part of the team.
A Personal training Studio Designed Around You
Unlike a commercial gym, our private personal training studio in Hitchin has been designed to help people train with confidence. Whether you're recovering from an injury, building strength during perimenopause, improving your mobility as you get older or simply looking for a quieter place to exercise, our coaches will create a personalised programme that's tailored to you.
Every client is different, but our approach is always the same. We listen first, assess how your body moves and provide expert coaching that helps you achieve long-term, sustainable results.
-
Not in the traditional sense.
The Ferraro Method is a private personal training studio in Hitchin, designed for people who want expert coaching in a calm, welcoming environment. Rather than rows of machines and a busy gym floor, you'll train one-to-one with your coach in a space that's focused entirely on you.
Whether you're new to exercise, returning after an injury or simply prefer a quieter place to train, our studio gives you the privacy and support to build confidence without the distractions of a commercial gym.
-
Some clients are completely new to exercise, while others have trained for years but want more structure and expert guidance. We also work with people recovering from injury or surgery, those managing ongoing aches and pains, women navigating perimenopause and menopause, and older adults looking to stay strong, mobile and independent.
Whatever your starting point, every programme is tailored to your individual goals, experience and ability.
-
Many of our clients join us because they've never felt comfortable in a traditional gym environment. Our private studio removes that pressure completely.
You'll work one-to-one with your coach in a friendly, supportive space where you can learn at your own pace, ask questions and build confidence without worrying about who's watching.
Our aim is simple: to help you enjoy training and leave feeling better than when you arrived.
-
Yes.
If you'd like to train between your coaching sessions, we offer an optional monthly gym access membership. This gives you the flexibility to use our private studio independently and follow your personalised programme in a familiar environment.
Many clients find this is a great way to build consistency while continuing to benefit from regular guidance and support from their coach.
-
Of course.
Choosing a personal trainer is an important decision, and we want you to feel comfortable before committing. You're welcome to visit the studio, meet the team, see the space for yourself and chat through your goals before deciding whether we're the right fit.
There's no pressure, just an opportunity to ask questions and find out more about how we work.
-
We're a genuinely friendly, down-to-earth team who love helping people feel stronger, healthier and more confident, but we also believe training should be enjoyable.
Yes, we'll challenge you, encourage you and help you achieve your goals, but we'll also have a laugh along the way. Sessions are often filled with plenty of conversation, a bit of friendly banter and the odd life story. Over time, you get to know your coach, and they get to know you.
You'll never be judged, made to feel uncomfortable or expected to be someone you're not. Whether you've had a great week or a tough one, we'll meet you where you are, adapt your session if needed and help you leave feeling better than when you arrived.
We take your training seriously. Ourselves... not quite as much.
